Ch.ACO '16: Santiago, Chile

26 - 29 March 2026
Overview

Espacio O presents a group booth at Ch.ACO, the contemporary art fair that has been the main meeting point of the Chilean art scene since 2009 and the country's principal platform for galleries, collectors and institutions.

The presentation brings together five artists from the gallery's program, across painting, textile sculpture and works on paper.

Catalina Torres shows the series Entre líneas y capas, oil paintings in which domestic interiors are built up and dismantled in layers, alongside Todo lo que toca el sol.

Pascual Ovalle presents small-format oils —the Atardecer series and two works from Retrato de un paciente— together with larger canvases where clinical and everyday space overlap.

Paula Solís brings the Arreglo Floral paintings and the watercolour series Entre ellos y nosotros, works in which the still life becomes a way of looking at company and distance.

José Pérez shows textile sculpture made with weft-face weaving and warp displacement, in cotton and wool, including Deformación intencional and the soft sculptures of Retratos entrelazados.

Norton Maza, who represents Chile at the 61st Venice Biennale with his project Inter-Reality, presents watercolours on Arches paper alongside El Hombre en su Átomo and the sculpture Fragmentos de un impacto.
